About the Author She lives in England, UK and is married with two children. At the moment she is a stay at home mum whilst her son is still at nursery. She has been a blogger for about a year and a half and use to admin for Magic Within The Pages but in January 2015 she decided to go it alone and set up her own page called Late Night Books and Reviews. She loves reading and remembers her first book read on her kindle was Little Women and as a kid she loved reading Disney stories, her favourite was peter Pan. The idea for her debut novel, A Complicated Love came about rather abruptly one night in a dream. she wasn't sure whether she could get it down on paper; however with much needed support by her author friends she has gained motivation and confidence to write her novel, This has greatly helped her inspiration and self-belief to grow.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. complicated but... unexpected things happen By Tracy I enjoyed this second book in the complicated Love series. this book starts off with Tracy and Karl hooking up at the Wedding of their best friends...with both Tracy and Karl having a sucky past history with love, neither are looking for anything more than that or so they think, this time with Tracy sneaking out the front door. Fast forward 5 years and still things are complicated but... unexpected things happen. NO SPOILERS a great story with a range of emotions and not your typical HEA Romance. Unexpected Love leaves you with an unexpected ending.. I'm glad to know there will be more to come in this series..

Here we have Tracy and Karl's story which was hinted at in book 1.Tracy had a mucked up childhood and does not believe in picket fences and HEA. She's more than happy for her best friend to have that life...but it's not for her.Karl is much the same. He sees life as a smorgasbord of the female form and why should he limit himself to the same meal!But after a hookup at their friends wedding, Karl ends up being left behind by Tracy, who snuck out without a word. She basically treated him as he had treated some women!!! But when she doesn't contact him he tried to go own with his life.Fast forward and Tracy is happily living in LA, living her so-so happy life. She has a job she loves, she has friends and is dating a lovely guy. But he isn't setting the world alight and she's kind of going through the motions. But when Karl appears like a blast from the past, her world is rocked on its axis. Her new guy is a little too closely related to Karl for comfort!!No spoilers but I loved this story...even though there is not your typical HEA!! There is a promise of more to come and the characters grow so much throughout the story so you can't really expect them to get their HEA just like that.I highly enjoyed the story, with so many twists and turns and revelations. I was at times in tears or floods of laughter at their antics and found myself wanting to smack their heads together at others. Always the sign of a good book!!!!! Roll on the next in the series.

By UIBB ~I was given this for an honest review~I must say this book frustrated me. One character believes in the happy ever after while the other one is still hurting from a heartbreak. They had one night of passion but instead of continuing on, one got scared and ran while the other one was left abandon and hurt. This whole thing with will they get together or not is what frustrated me... Tracy is still holding back and I'm not sure why. She has an unbelievable guy who shows her how much he loves her but she still doubts him. Karl, yes was hurt in college and shut off his heart to love. Tracy makes him believe in it again. He's all in while she's still on the fence. I have no clue how this is going to play out but I really want to read more to find out. I loved the first book but I'm on still on the fence with this one, I think if I'm being honest I'd give this book a 3.5 star rating because I just felt so annoyed with them. There are some good moments but I think Tracy's insecurities threw me off. I really hope the next part of their story changes my mind some but I have my doubts.Reviewed by Amy

It had an amazing quiz on your aura, that gave me insights into myself, as well as visualisations to fix your relationships. And they actually worked. My boyfriend and I were going through a rough patch and I did a visualisation to connect our chakra energy points and he contacted me that day full of apologies. It's a great book to dip in and out of; I feel like I've learnt so much about myself!

Infused into these common themes is a more challenging concept for children, accepting delayed gratification. The illustrations capture the little moments of mothering; a younger sibling in the baby carrier, loving looks of a mother toward her daughter and look of pure excitement when the grand and glorious cupcake is revealed. You will not be disappointed.

By Suzie Harris I was skeptical at first upon seeing this book but then I ordered it, read it and I have to say, it really does make sense! I read it over the weekend and have been thinking about it ever since. I found my category and Dr. Magids is right. You are the one constant in all your relationships (family, friends, boyfriends, etc.) so if things always seems to not work out, then it kind of forces you to look at yourself directly...and this book really helps you do just that. The book helped me to see and understand things much better. I think I can now really act on correcting behavoir that wasn't helping me in my relationships. I now feel good about my future relationships instead of being miserable and feeling like I'll never find anyone. Thanks for writing this book -- I'll help spread the word!

But this book gave me some helpful insight. I really appreciate Magids's psychological analysis on dating and her explanation of why people just can't seem to find a permanent, loving relationship. I especially liked the section on how to find the roots of dating failures and eradicate them so you can ultimately find true love.I was really drawn to the discussion on how daters find themselves at a "dead-end" due to a lack of confidence. Although she mentioned several things you can do to boost your confidence level, I can tell you what works for me. If you enhance your knowledge and feed your mind, you can become that confident, interesting person. Services like Agogus.com are great - it's quick, easy and has really interesting topics. My road to a long-lasting relationship seems a little shorter now - just watch out for those dips!

It makes you think about your own life and what you need to work on. Read this a little at a time, it might be overwhelming all in one sitting but its gems are valuable.

4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. good afternoon read By Patricia statham Good Saturday all , hope your weekend is going great today we are reviewing PARANORMAL FANTASIES A short story analogy by Bree Pierce, Cora A Murray , D.L Colon and Maylee Lynn MY REVIEW In the first short story is by Bree Pierce CAIN THE IMMORTAL , the beginning . Is the story of Cain and Abel . How Cain got the mark after killing Abel. He is doomed to walk the earth for ever . This short story didn't attract my attention as most short stories go. I love the characters and the direction she was going but I felt like she left us wanting more. Over all I did like the story I just think she could of flushed it out just a little bit more . The concept is great . In the second short THE DARK ALPHA by Cora A Murray . This is the second book in the series . About a were panther / professor that finds his mate and what they go through to get together. This is a story line with great characters . The author has written about a panther shifter instead of the overdone wolf. Which for me I really liked Wolf shifters are so over done . Its time to bring on the panthers . Reading this story makes me want to read more from this author and see what she can do with a full novel.In the third short story A GENIE'S KISS by D.L Colon. We meet Roy Hudson as time traveler. Roy is a scavenger and loves to find stuff from the past . The author has him telling his tale of time travelling to a group of bar patrons . I really liked this short story. The author has us on the edge of our seat as he tells his tale. The bar patrons are friends and are so funny. I would love to see a whole book of Roy Hudson time traveller and his adventuresIn the last short story THE LAST FAIRY by MaeLee Lynn. Is about the last dark fairy who finds out that she is the one the ancients have written about. This short story is a great way to end the book. We have fairies dark and light . Love and romance and an ancient scroll that comes true . The author created some very strong characters that would work really well in a full length novel. I would like to see where she will take these characters . Over all I really enjoyed this anthology. It is a great afternoon read if you are sitting by the pool. This is a short story so it will be read in an afternoon. I hope to see more from these young independent authors in the future . I see great things for all of them . So if you want a good afternoon read this could be the book for you .

By Book Spots and Thoughts Short, Sexy, and Sweet.Pretty much sums up each story in this anthology. Bree Pierce does a great job spinning a story around Cain, the original bad boy ( and from the Bible), and makes him likable, and oh so intriguing. Can not wait to read more about him...Cora A. Murray's debut, The Dark Alpha, about a professor by day, panther shifter by night, who finds his mate and will do whatever he has to to claim her and keep her safe has only one complaint from me... I don't live close enough to take one of Aiden Dark's classes. He's hot. This story is hot. She's got a full book coming out about him soon-and I can not wait.DL. Colon and MaeLee Lynn tell charming stories about time-travel, genies, fairies, and most of all love.I read this book over my lunch hour. Keep in mind this is an anthology, so stories don't have alot of depth, but will definitely keep you entertained.A great group of author's who will give you a look into each one of their writing styles and stories to come. Can't wait for more!

Lovely anthology for a gorgeous spring afternoon By Kathy Cilley What a fantastic little book. 4 authors, 4 different writing styles = a nice day of reading for you. 3 women and 1 man in this anthology. Most authors are new authors but I can't wait for more from them. Alphas, fairies, zombie killers, genies. What is not to love. Cover is gorgeous ( yes I look for that ) and to me you can not go wrong. Will make a nice gift for the book lover in your life. So, grab it and let the day to day worries melt away. And add the authors to your list of new to you authors and look for more from them. You're welcome.

By Angela I really enjoyed this sweet vacation tour with these animal friends!The author made the reader feels as if I were right there with them. And I found it difficult to stop reading it. Reading it from the beginning to the very end of the set of stories about these friends. Because of all of what I shared just now this is why I am giving this ebook five stars. Today I completed reading this book and I am really happy to read this great book. There are moments of crisis in the marriage life and we want to repair our relationship but how to fix it! I think that this book can help you because there are much information about it. This is a very small book, but very helpful. There are eleven chapters in this book and you must read those chapters very carefully. The author uses his own fifteen plus year marriage life as a backdrop for what to do, what not to do, and what lessons he learned along the way. I know that you will enjoy this book so much. Highly recommended to you!
