La mayoría de las decisiones en Latinoamérica carecen de un sustento metodológico que priorice los proyectos por importancia, factibilidad, etc. Este libro sumamente práctico y aplicable brinda una guía para planear correctamente, priorizar y evaluar los proyectos que más beneficio y sentido hacen para la sociedad.

By arturo tecpanecatl En mi experiencia como funcionario, muy pocas veces se cuenta con tiempo y dedicación para el diseño de las políticas, estas casi siempre se llevan a cabo bajo un esquema de mandato y carecen de un análisis pertinente por parte del funcionario, sin embargo, el libro del Mtro. Julio Franco Corzo te explica paso a paso en un lenguaje apto para cualquier nivel de funcionario como poder llevar a cabo un diseño óptimo de las políticas públicas. Desde mi perspectiva más que una guía, lo considero como una herramienta primordial, ya que explica de forma clara y precisa mediante ejemplos prácticos la metodología propuesta.

Sacrificing and giving your all in hopes to glue a marriage. I am happy the author has shared a journey of her life that a lot of women can identify with. This book reminded me to be a strong woman and not lose site of my needs as a woman and to remember to put myself first. Because at the end of the day, when one is not willing to fight for you, YOU are left alone to pick up the pieces. About the Author

Beatrice Alemagna is a multi-award-winning author/illustrator from Bologna, Italy. Now living in Paris, she has worked as the poster artist for Centre Pompidou for over 10 years and is the author of over 20 books for children, translated into 13 different languages. Her artwork has been the subject of 14 solo exhibitions and has been featured in group exhibitions in major museums. In four sections that correspond to the four years of high school, Arlo describes the manner in which the sport gradually becomes an obsession, driving him to train incessantly and take ever greater risks in practice and games. He ignores the warnings of his mother, his girlfriend, and his own body until he is forced to confront his violent nature after grabbing his girlfriend during an argument in school. Comparisons are sure to be made with the author's groundbreaking Inexcusable (S. & S, 2005). Readers expecting the intense, concentrated focus of the earlier book, however, may be disappointed in this more diffuse effort, which features, for instance, a never-resolved subplot involving Arlo's jealousy of an older guy he thinks his girlfriend may be seeing. The novel also has some issues in terms of voice and narrative arc. In the first section, the 14-year-old Arlo comes across as entirely too erudite and sophisticated for a freshman, and the entire final section seems confusing as Arlo takes up boxing, of all things, to substitute for the football he has had to abandon because of his head trauma. His motivation for doing so is never sufficiently explained and the closing chapters are likely to leave readers scratching their heads. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Good YA sports read with a lot of actual play time By QueenBook I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. Hit Count is a book that I think a lot of my high school guy readers (and reluctant readers) are going to enjoy. There is a lot of actual football game time and training time in this book. I read it in an afternoon, so the 300+ pages are easy pages. This book follows Arlo throughout his high school football career and it was pretty interesting to see the evolution. Arlo is a pretty smart guy, but the high he gets from the game robs him of a lot of his judgement. Subplots about Arlo's clearly disturbed older brother (he was freaky ominous) and friendship in the face of ego gave depth to the story. I particularly liked Arlo's relationship with his girlfriend. It seemed like a genuine affection, and it wasn't all about what she could do for him. I don't know if I've seen a relationship like this before from a guy's perspective, and while it is just a small part of the book, it was engaging and a positive example of love. While there is a clear lesson about the danger involved in contact sports and head injuries, it isn't pedantic. I think the approach means my students will be drawn in by the action, but they will hang around long enough to benefit from the themes. While I thought this was a surprisingly strong book for the genre, I did have a few problems. I didn't like the ending, though it was satisfactory enough. I also struggled with the humor, which was sometimes laced with enough malice that I wasn't sure it was humor. My husband, the football coach, feels that some of the drama of the team dynamic was exaggerated, but hey, there is no fight club, right? Overall, I'm going to be very excited to add this to my classroom library because all of my Dueker and Green are well worn, and I struggle to find sports books for guys who read most of them in middle school. Language and situations are appropriate for grades 9+.

The combination went over really well. There are a ton of "Little Red Riding Hood" books available out there, but this one is one of my favorites. If you are looking for more age-appropriate material for small children, this would be the perfect pick.

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Not really impressed By Jay-Me Read this book very slowly over about a week, it is the sort of length that I would normally have finished in a day. I was very busy during this time but even so if the book had been one that grabbed my attention I would have been reading it at every opportunity. I didn't like the main characters at all and I only persevered to the end because I thought that reading in short bursts between important tasks was part of the reason I wasn't enjoying this book. After a couple of days reflection I'm sure this wasn't the case.

Kate’s character is fantastic and her descriptions of the people in her life and the situations she finds herself in are both realistic and very entertaining, with lots of laugh out loud moments. Lucy Austin manages to capture the experiences and ups and downs of travelling and life on the return home perfectly and her vibrant characters jump off the page. A great, fun (and funny!) read - especially with a cappuccino.

It made me cringe with sympathy and understanding for Kate’s mishaps, snort with laughter and recognition at various scenes, and punch the air in delight (metaphorically!) when she triumphed. Highly recommend for a feel-good read, will be keeping an eye out for her next one.

I'm not going to return them because I just don't think it's worth the hassle, but the pictures are extremely simple. Not very pleased since they were nearly $7 each.
