"Explore legends, mythical sightings, and intriguing explorations from around the globe!

Enjoy the unique combination of visual illustrations and unforgettable accounts. Discover why the author calls into question what we've been taught to believe and understand about the history of dinosaurs and man. Every legend is said to include some grain of truth, and for years co-author Dave Woetzel has sought to separate fact from fiction as he explores mysteries related to dinosaurs, mankind's history, and the biblical time-line. Teaming with artist and designer Richard Dobbs, the two have created a visual archive of expeditions and intriguing clues to explore, all of which highlight the connection to the authority and reliability of Scripture.

Provocative artifacts from around the world are examined in an exquisite, full-color book that hints at man's familiarity with living dinosaurs. Studies point to more than simple answers beneath the waves of Loch Ness, and other sites around the world, many investigated personally by the author. Here is the study of cryptozoology and the discoveries that seem to defy all evolutionary time-lines, vividly illustrated and filled with rare photos."

About the Author “Dino Dave” Woetzel was privileged to grow up in a Christian home and, as a child, accepted Christ as his personal Savior. He was fascinated with dinosaurs at an early age and grew to love science. Dave graduated from Bob Jones University in 1987 with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree. He currently resides with his wife Gloria and two children in Concord, New Hampshire, where he is the president of CCR Data Systems, a technology firm.

Dave has had numerous opportunities to speak on the topic of Science and the Bible around the world. In 1999 Dave started the Genesis Park website which showcases evidence that men and dinosaurs coexisted, much of which is now included in this book.

He has also spearheaded some fascinating expeditions that have earned him the nickname “Dino Dave.” These include a trip into the unexplored African rainforest of Cameroon; travel to a remote volcanic island in Papua New Guinea; an expedition up the Amazon through the Madidi River in Bolivia; an investigation into the swamps of Lake Bangweulu, Zambia; research at Scotland’s Loch Ness; pursuit of swimming monsters in Lake Champlain and Lake Okanagan in North America; and research on Lake Nahuel Haupi in South America.

Richard D. Dobbs, Jr. was born in Atlanta, Georgia and also grew up with Christian parents. He was a dinosaur fan for as long as he can remember and began drawing pictures of the great reptiles at an early age. Richard discovered he had gifts in art and music and desired to spend his life devoting these gifts to God’s glory. While still a young man Richard experienced God’s love and grace and, at the age of 13, was baptized to publicly confess his devotion to Christ.

After high school, Richard enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and was assigned to Camp Pendleton where he played in the Band. In 1989 he participated in Desert Storm as an M-60 Gunner, providing security detail. In 1991 he showed his personal art portfolio to the Camp Pendleton Art Department and was accepted into their graphics team despite his lack of formal training. After leaving the Marines, Richard earned an Associate’s Degree in Commercial Art from Johnston Community College in Smithfield, North Carolina.

Richard works as a freelance artist and graphic illustrator. He enjoys fine art projects like portraits, paintings, murals, and book illustrations. Richard lives near Raleigh, North Carolina with his wife Carrie and three daughters.

"The History & Mystery of Dinosaurs and Man" sounded intriguing. Although I have heard evidence here and there of man and dinosaurs co-existing, I hadn't seen anything like this book before.Written by Dave Woetzel (http://www.newleafpublishinggroup.com/authors.php?author_id=347), Chronicles of Dinosauria is a compilation of evidence from the fossil record, historical accounts, artistic documentation, cryptozoology, and the Bible. It is organized in an easy to follow manner with beautiful illustrations by Richard Dobbs, and amazing photographic evidence of these awe-inspiring beasts.Beginning with the creation of the dinosaurs recorded by the Bible on a literal "day five" of the creation event, Woetzel explains that a Bible-believing Christian would expect and predict evidence of man dwelling with dinos. He addresses the world-wide flood, its abatement, and the following Ice Age. Fascinating and challenging to the idea that the earth is millions of years old, this information makes perfect sense when compared with the somewhat nonsensical Theory of Evolution. He then addresses the hard evidence of the fossil record. Human artifacts found with dinosaur remains and unfossilized dinosaur bones provide facts that cannot be ignored. I had already been aware of the red blood cells and stretchy blood vessels found within T-Rex bones (no thanks to public education), but I had not heard about the massive boneyard discovered in Alaska with thousands of unfossilized dinosaur bones, some with tendons still attached. After this, Woetzel takes the reader on a journey through recorded history and artistic discoveries to examine the vast amount of information recorded by eyewitnesses of dinosaur activity. Woetzel's presentation is truly eye-opening.And if that were not enough, he shares with us his personal travels throughout the world to speak with remote tribes who frequently observe modern day pterosaurs, as well as other suspected dinosaur sightings. Woetzel also shares with us his own personal sighting of the Ogopogo phenomenon at Lake Okanagan. The idea that many dinosaurs could still be alive today may sound fantastic at first, but when the evidence of current dinosaur activity is examined, it is difficult to deny.Lastly, Woetzel presents the biblical evidence of dinosaurs. Although I have read the Bible many times and knew of at least three references to dinosaur-like creatures, Woetzel enlightened me to passages of which I was surprisingly unaware. Due to translation issues, the additional presence of dinosaurs in the Bible is easy to pass over. I was particularly grateful for this chapter.All-in-all, I wholeheartedly agree with Woetzel's statement in his conclusion: "This evidence forcefully and clearly contradicts the evolutionary time scale and threatens the credibility of Darwinists who have stated unequivocally that men and dinosaurs never coexisted."Chronicles of Dinosauria is published by Master Books, a division of New Leaf Publishing Group (http://www.newleafpublishinggroup.com/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=chronicles+of+dinosauria&osCsid=df0a2fa217160819b065a8a0dcdb8c5b&x=0&y=0). The artwork is incredible, not to mention the insight I received. Have you ever heard of a Basilosaurus? Me neither, but I know now. It was only a few years ago that I learned the Bible and Dinosaurs went together and they didn't really exist millions of years ago. This a must read for adults and children.

By Canadianladybug If you ever wondered if dinosaurs ever existed and want to discover the truth about them, this is the book you need to get! Chronicles of Dinosauria is packed with information concerning the dinosaurs and how they related to us through time. You will be exploring various evidences of the presence of these beasts via fossil evidence, historical evidence, artistic evidence, cryptozoology evidence and biblical evidence. The book is marvelous with plenty of illustrations and photos supporting the evidence presented through the pages. As I read and learned more about the dinosaurs, I got more and more convinced of the presence even after the flood. The information in this book has been well researched and I doubt that you will still believe that the dinosaur were killed by comet millions of years ago after you read it.I was personally in awe when I read about the discovery of unfossilized dinosaur bones supported by photographies. In this book, you will also have a fun activity to do with your kids in creating fossils. I also enjoyed reading about the dragons and how the dinosaurs are in fact these beast seen in the Chinese culture. The art evidence is also fabulous to read about and discover via photographies. This book is a great gift for a boy who is highly interested in dinosaur and wish to learn more about them. It is a fabulous book to own and read together as a family in order to discover the truth about the dinosaurs.
