1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. I always enjoy Neil Gaiman's work By none of the above I always enjoy Neil Gaiman's work. The Inter World novels take place in an interesting universe with an adventure that is fun to follow even when the story gets dark. I would highly recommend this as a young persons book, but this old one enjoys it too.

Good, But Not Quite As Good As The First Two By Jaxon I had been looking forward to this 3rd installment of the series for a while because I enjoyed the first two so much. In fact, I went back and reread the first two books in anticipation of the receiving the 3rd on my Kindle the day it was released. I have to say that I was a bit disappointed in this one. I found the first two a bit more jaunty, good humored and tight knit. The action sequences in the first two volumes seemed more dynamic, even upon a second reading. I think the problem may have been that this third volume had to spend more time in explication and tying up loose ends ... which it did quite well ... but that made it a bit more "talky" than the first two volumes. I enjoyed the read and am glad to have completed the trilogy. I am giving it three stars because, while a worthwhile read, it didn't quite meet the expectations established by the first two volumes.
