Determined to turn her life around for the sake of her unborn child, Corrine entered rehab and delivered a healthy babygirl. In the meantime, Corrine becomes a counselor but her life remains in neutral due to ghost of her past.In an effort to clear up all thing's evil, Corrine goes back to her hometown to face her demons and help her community. Problem 1,2,3,4, and 5 some people from her past haven't a clue of her true intentions or identity. Others want nothing more than for her to disappear. Corrine just wants to put a Band-Aid over the scars. That is until everything blows up in her face, and she is forced to deal with present and past pain caused by her.I read this book in two days. It was a great story of heartbreak, secrets, mental disorders, and family issues that people face daily but afraid to admit. I hope there is a Part 2 because I want to know Malika's thoughts about her Mother's past.
