By Charlie O ...I am a Girl"Katie Leone has another great story and it shows how much better she has become as an author / writer.Yes there is some Dark sections that can be hard to deal with for some, but without them the story would fail.As an extension of Unreachable Andrew becomes Desiree in spirit and proves to all who care who she really is. It almost costs her life and exposes Mr. Fisher, the new Children's Welfare Services worker and Pastor Nan for who they were. While the Mr. Fisher and Pastor Nan characters are overstated they could represent some similar folks I've known in real life.Mixed in is the side story of Jennifer and Shawn Sweet. Jennifer, a TG Lawyer, and Shawn play key parts in supporting Desiree as well as ending then replacing the "dungeon" that Pastor Nan held Andrew as well as many others in.In the end this story ends well with all characters getting their due, both good and bad. No you'll just have to read it to find out what happens to who.I will add one spoiler an say that Desiree, 'Poot' and Janice all come together in a wonderful way.Well done Katie!

The love of Janice for Disree was beautiful to see and watch grow. To see how they managed as the deck just seemed to grow against them. Mr Fisher's character i feel truely represents a lot of how society in general thinks of girls like Desiree. In Pastor Nan I saw what I have seen in some of those that have taken in kids, not all or even many, but some. It would be nice to see a follow up with Desiree and her boy in TN., and maybe Janice and Sam have a child or adopt a child to be a sister or brother. So many opportunities still lie ahead..

I found that I got very emotionally involved with the characters and the situations they were put through. Having worked close to the child care business for a number of years, I found some of the situations to be a bit unrealistic; however, I found the characters to be well developed, and unfortunately, believable. I don't know if this is the end of the tales about Desiree; however, I feel very good about how the story came to conclusion.
