Do you love romance stories, but hate all the vulgarity that shows up in them so often? Read this you won't be disappointed! This is a great quick summer read that is not offensive or vulgar in anyway. It's good clean fun, and that is getting harder to find in today's world. Can't wait for books 2 and 3!

It is enjoyable reading with nothing offensive in its contents. Its setting is mostly in an English mansion and surrounding village, but the time period changes from modern back to the Regency era. The main characters are endearing, and you find yourself hoping things will work out for them as some of the mysteries in their past unfold. I would definitely recommend this book. When it ends, you wish for more.

I love clean Regency books, and from the description it seemed like something I might enjoy so I got it on my Kindle and...I couldn't put it down! Janessa Burt has a way of keeping your attention through the entire book, with good character development and clean romance it won't dissapoint! Burt fits in perfectly with all the other Regency authors I like (Jennifer Moore, Sarah M. Eden, Sarah E. Ladd, Julie Klassen, etc.). I am anxiously waiting for book 2 so I can find out what happens to the characters and can't wait to see what else Burt writes in the future!

Having said that, there are years of pain,laughter, and loving here. I would recommend this book to anyone one who is or has been a caregiver for any reason. Caregivering is exhausting but inevitably rewarding for those who go through it.

Even as an adult, the book reminded me to simply be still and listen to God. I have already shared the book with many of my fellow elementary educators and highly recommend it to anyone in search of a beautiful children's book with an inspirational message!

I knew then that I wanted to buy this book for my granddaughter. Little did I realize what a beautiful book this would be about a little girl listening for the voice of God. The story is one that we all can learn from as we go through our daily lives. As you move through the book you will share in the wonderful joy of adventure in a child's world living in a small rural community. The illustrations are so colorful and full of fun details to keep even the youngest child's interest. I have one for all the little people in my family and even have one for myself!

This book is a fascinating true story of a family of 15 in a nearby Hamlet of Indian falls in Western New York about the iconic Peter Klotzbach family. Mr. Klotzbach father emigrated from Germany in the late 1800s. So many Germans came to this country with precious skills, making Western New York, prosperous. Many were farmers with great motivation, acquired some of the most fertile lands in Genesee County. He became an ordained minister at the age of 19. Had a very large dairy and potato farm raising 13 children. And the minister of a church down the road from me. Many of my colleagues and friends remember his sermons. They were down to earth and very inspiring. He read the Bible, a very religious man. His faith in God must have given him guidance in endurance in managing a family, farm and church. So many of my older friends remember him so dearly. However, daughter, Ellen Carey has written this book and recorded many memories combined with many biblical quotes so precious when we reminisce about rural life during the depression years and World War II. I myself can remember my father making cheese at a small cross-road cheese factory. I remember him telling me milk in the depression got down to.60 cents per hundred pounds. Today's price ($20 per hundredweight). Some farmers with large families defaulted on their mortgages. Banks foreclosed on their farms. How devastating when your whole life depends on a farm to feed a large family. Divine intervention must of served Klotzbach well. This is one of the greatest human interest stories, and is a must read. Even if you never met the Klotzbachs. It made me want to be a better person.

By Monika "The Road Home" is the second part of "In Moral Danger" and this is the part where the author, Barbara Biggs, really grows and recovers from what happened in her early years. It is amazing to see how life has shaped her and how she managed to live and become despite everything. The book inspires and offers hope to all of us. Hard to put it down when you start reading!Monika
