Read After reading DARTS, I was delighted to learn that Ben had a sequel in the works, and RINGS certainly is a worthy successor. Picking up where DARTS concludes, RINGS further develops and deepens our insights into the major characters: Teacup, Magnus, Lucinda, Carmen, and even Pale Tom, whose death at the end of the first book left a bit of a mystery swirling in the smoky air. With Pale Tom gone (or is he?), Ben introduces a new villain who's determined to shut down Teacup's "acquisitions" business for good. Will Sanjuste succeed? I know that Ben has a major work in progress, but I sincerely hope he'll revisit the Black Cat Tavern and its assorted denizens from time to time!

Filled with Both Humor and Heart By Audrey Ruth Cornelius Filled with playful humor, an action packed plot, and a cast of interesting characters, Hewett's second installment in the episodic Paladin's Thief series does not disappoint. My only regret is that it ended so soon. The story ends with the promise of bigger adventures on the horizon for our rag tag cast of would-be heroes.If you are looking for a fantasy adventure series that is filled with both humor and heart then look no further. This series holds promise for many more exciting adventures and great plot twists to come.

A fabulous afternoon escape from the tedium of reality By Sam Teamus takes the highroad again as Hewett delivers on what the readers requested from Darts: a longer story! Rings delves deeper into the world of Lower Ector and leaves the readers feeling satisfied knowing what happened following the epic dart contest, and the promise that more adventures await our unlikely hero and his friends.
