About the Author David Elliot was born in Ashburton, in the South Island of New Zealand. He is an award-winning illustrator and author who has achieved international success. He is the creator of Henry's Map, and his artwork has also appeared in the Redwall epic by Brian Jacques.

It kept the attention of both my 3 year old and my 2 year old and BONUS I loved reading it! My 3 year old is interested in the moon and stars and my 2 year old loves "old macdonald" so all the farm animals in the book were delightful for her.
