Sturdy pages, bright & colorful illustrations, and large, expressive print are all great. The best feature, though, is the tabs that make the pages easily turnable even for very small infants. Our son is 7 1/2 months old, and while he's too young to follow the story, he's able to turn the pages and participate in the reading experience, building habits that will help him get comfortable with reading. This book holds his interest far better than other picture books we've tried with him.

By Medina Minor My 1 year old enjoys turning the pages over and over again... but the actual book is completely overwhelming and uninteresting and won't stand the test of time... it is a nice companion to the song though and its kept my kid busy as she learns to turn pages, so that's why i give it a 3 :)
