You probably just don't have it because you are too addicted to Minecraft and Videogames. Like seriously!? I am glad to stick up 4 my favorite Mc author. But still i encourage you t write more great books and plz come out angry alex 6 soon... SUCH A CLIFF HANGER!!!!! lol

About the Author As a child, Oliva had a passion for painting and writing about anything that came to mind. As she matured, her writings were focused on anecdotes, essays and poems. Later on she began writing books, some in the works and others already published in digital and paperback formats. Her new writing interests, some with bits of humor and drama, include a full color children’s book. The other publications consist of a novel; a variety of poems; a crime mystery, plus miscellaneous short stories and one drawings’ book under revision. From covers to interior pages, Oliva illustrates her books with existing or new paintings. Oliva’s art endeavors started with drawing the human figure in black and white after taking drawing courses in MDCC. Gradually, she delved in pastel and oil portraits, followed by oil renditions of landscapes and animals. When it became necessary to divert her full attention to a successful career path in banking, she had to put aside all her artistic dreams. Down the road, after selective antiques collecting and planning, she opened and operated an antiques and collectibles store for a few years – appropriately named Antiques Are Forever, the corporation now inactive. Dealing extensively with antiques and art brought her back to painting. Oliva’s new emphasis was to study the masters’ techniques by visiting art shows and museums or from already acquired antique oil paintings. Her creativity resulted in a new artistic vision: adding abstracts and modernism to her realistic painting style.

While there are moments of warm, tingling feelings, it also delves into the complexities and emotional responses to adoption. Different characters in the story deal with certain situations in their own way including lies and other forms of deception. While this is a fictional story, there are elements that have truth to them as the characters are confronted with everything that comes from this journey of love. Sublime Adoption is a tale that brings together adoptees, adopters and those who made the ultimate sacrifice of allowing their young to find a better life filled with love.The author has an astounding voice; she draws the reader into the story from the very first sentence. Every sentence is riddled with emotion and pulls the reader in more. The story doesn’t tell one story but three, that of those who are adopting a child, and that of a woman who gives her daughter up for adoption as well as the young woman who was adopted. The story is filled with deception and lies from the birth mother which in turns causes stress and fear on the adoptive parents. The characters are realistic and complex.The author takes her time telling the story in a progressive way. She does not leave anything out. She creates a compelling tale that invokes strong personal emotions. There are moments in the story when the reader thinks they can predict what will happen, but then the character would do something completely shocking and surprising. Just when the reader thinks the twists and turns have ended, Olivia throws a wrench into the story and throws her readers for yet another loop. This is a book that draws the reader in and sticks with them, it was definitely difficult to put the novel down. In a few short pages M. Olivia won my heart and admiration. There were moments that felt as if this story could have possible truth behind them, that maybe some of the things discussed could have been things the author experienced herself. A common thing throughout the book was the use of poetry to express emotions and inner thoughts. Each poem was a beautiful addition to a beautiful story. They each told the reader how the poet was feeling at the time without the use of inner thought or dialogue. It was a fantastic touch and reference to the beginning of the story which was a group of girls hanging on the words of their literature teacher.I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a heartfelt story of families coming together under the revealing of long kept secrets. It is a great story for those who have been adopted, or planning to adopt. There were small moments of grammatical errors and long winded sentences, but despite these minor downfalls the book was a wonderful read.

The book followed the raising of the child and her adulthood. With adoption being the one constant throughout. The child was treated as the natural child of Kate and Bryant. There were so many nuances to this story that kept it twisting and turning all the way from front to back.This is a solid story of a tough situation. Although the difficult subject is handled with much love.

Well, there is always that one person who would crave more and more. The author created this magnificent world filled with magical elements like no other. The characters were unforgettable and the story is one of a kind.I loved Bliss and enjoyed tagging along with her. I kept guessing throughout the book and can't wait to continue along this adventure! Magic is a great power; intended to be used wisely By Jennifer The real world, and fantasy worlds too, have always been about good vs evil; this tale has a unique twist on the clash that occurs with characters between using magic for good and abusing the power that magic can present whenever a creature is faced with an embarrassment of riches.In Luis Robles’s story, human beings like us, co-exist peacefully amongst creatures called Nulians who have animallike characteristics. Children born during the violet moon occurrence are especially prized; like the “chosen ones”, but also vulnerable. The Nulians work for a good guy (at first) named Gavril, who like the famous Star Wars saga, turns to the dark side when he develops a lust for magical powers after word gets out about a special child named Bliss.The last of the Watchers takes Bliss under his wing and they go into seclusion to be safe from greedy Gavril and his henchman, the “Rot”. The Rot is a group of undead monster bad guys, apparently that is what they are called in the plural sense, the Rot. The Watcher and Bliss turn out to be a force to reckon with together when the time comes to defeat their adversaries.Worthwhile reading about a very magical world, and teaches important lessons on using magic wisely.

It doesn't even matter if it was planned or a surprise, it's still there. The feeling of instantly loving and desiring to protect them from any harm is so overwhelming. Your main aim is to guide them with the best way you could, discipline them in a way you think is best, and train them to be their own person.This book discusses about discipline, the types of punishments, techniques on making them grow to be the person they want to be. It contains situational trainings you can refer to when the time comes. I learned a lot from this book. I got stuff I know I can use when the time comes.Great read!

And it was dissapointing.Despite every precaution I got, I went ahead and bought this book. I was surely in for more ugh-ness and groans at every predicatble and melodramatic plot twist.And yet, at the end of the day, I'm glad I read it.There were some ridiculous plot twists. Some characters brought back unnecessarily. Some jokes that have been made far too many times.But some twists still shocked me. I still got hit in the feels. And in the end, all was as it should be.Give this a chance. It's worth it. It's worth the closure. The right closure.

It had twists and turns I never saw coming. I honestly loved the ending. I've reread the epilogue a few times. True fans of this series will like this finale.

It was not the strongest of the series, but it was alright. Not a great ending, but not a bad one.Maximum Ride Forever is the ending and the closure to the series we all wanted to see. It is Max at her most vulnerable, her weakest moments and yet, at the same time, her strongest. Here is the Flock at the end of the world, and for the first time, you have the feeling that not everyone is going to by flying away from this. Not everyone is making it out.There is are so many twists, so many emtions in this one. If you were disappointed in Nevermore, this is the one you have been waiting for.

Told in dual points of view--one in verse, one in prose--both characters are well-developed and share a part of their lives distinctly different than the other. Although this is set in the future, this "dystopian" sets it apart from others in the genre. I loved that it was set in India, and that the portrayal of this future could actually be a real possibility with the gender selection happening today.I felt like I really got to know these characters and their backgrounds--so different from each other. In a world where past gender selection has led to an imbalance in genders (5 boys for every 1 girl), the boys must compete for a wife. Sudasa, as a girl, has lived a life of privilege while Contestant 5 is merely a working boy who has to compete with four other boys to win her hand in marriage. He doesn't actually want to win a wife, and she doesn't really want a husband. They are thrown together, and as they both try to thwart the other, they see that they may have more in common than they realize.As we get to know both characters, we discover more about their families and what kind of future they both want to fight to secure.The flow of words is just beautiful! It's a fast read, but it packs quite a punch! You'll remember these characters and this world long after you close the book! Here's hoping there's a sequel!

I haven't read many books in verse so wasn't sure how I would react to the half-verse, half-prose style. But I was sucked in from the very first page. I can't say enough good things about the writing; it was so beautiful. The characters were engaging, and the plot had me flipping pages as quickly as I could. I loved, loved, loved this story, and it will stay with me for a long time. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to be moved by a story.

7 of 7 people found the following review helpful. Three Silly Chicks Review By Three Silly Chicks Mr. Gum really is a bad man. He's slimy and gross and mean to children. But there's this little fairy who whacks him on the head with a frying pan whenever he neglects his garden. As a result, Mr. Gum's garden is the "prettiest, greeniest, floweriest, gardeniest garden in the whole of Lamonic Bibber." Lamonic Bibber is a town. (This book takes place in England, you see, where pan-whacking fairies and strange town names are the norm.) Anyhoo, enter Jake, "a massive whopper of a dog," who wreaks havoc on Mr. Gum's garden with a conga line of moles in party hats. Needless to say, Mr. Gum is not pleased. In fact, he is mightily bruised from the enormous pan-whacking that ensues. So our scowling villain decides to do away with Jake in a most heinous, hideous way. Fortunately, along comes Polly, a "girl worth liking," who's determined to foil Mr. Gum's plan even if she has to team up with a questionable old hero named Friday O'Leary.And you know what? We think we'll just stop here and let you read it for yourself. You really should. It's a whopper and a half. And then pass it on to any kid you know who enjoys books by Bruce Hale, Jim Benton, or Jon Scieszka. Or any a kid you know who needs a laugh. Or any adult, for that matter. Wafflemongers especially.

3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Really Funny Book. By James A. Nichols I thought this book was so funny, I couldnt stop laughing. The writing style is so great the author adds a lot to lines to make them hilarious. Mr Gum is a really bad and evil man who happens to have the best garden in the world until the friendly town dog finds it and tears everything up. Mr Gum comes up with a plan to get rid of the dog. Polly a local girl finds out his plan and must come up with a way to stop him. Definetly a book to check out. I would highly recommend for 3rd grade and above. I will definetly check out this authors future books.

He absolutly adores it, which to me is a sign of a great children's book. The book is whity and creative enough that you won't mind listening to it 200 times, since I swear that is how many times my son has put this on. I think laughter is so good for kids, and I highly recomend this for children in need of a book that will keep them giggling. The author does a fantastic job voicing the production. Five stars for this one!
