About the Author Since he was a little boy, Luis Robles was an avid reader, reading any book he could get his hands on. But his favorite books quickly became those of Science Fiction and Fantasy. Then, every now and then he began to picture a world, a world just next door from ours, where magic and giant robots existed. As time went by, keeping this wonderful world to himself became more difficult, he began wanting to tell the story. His passion for the fantasy world turned him into a natural story teller, bringing forth many short stories, illustrations and even the occasional comic book. From those early writings came his first novel, a labor of love entitled "The Watcher", a story that defines the very character of magic and how it came to be. He strives to start from scratch to make his own rules when it came to dealing with magic, to bring you an interesting never boring story. Day after day he continued his writing in order to try to bring his world into yours.

Well, there is always that one person who would crave more and more. The author created this magnificent world filled with magical elements like no other. The characters were unforgettable and the story is one of a kind.I loved Bliss and enjoyed tagging along with her. I kept guessing throughout the book and can't wait to continue along this adventure! Magic is a great power; intended to be used wisely By Jennifer The real world, and fantasy worlds too, have always been about good vs evil; this tale has a unique twist on the clash that occurs with characters between using magic for good and abusing the power that magic can present whenever a creature is faced with an embarrassment of riches.In Luis Robles’s story, human beings like us, co-exist peacefully amongst creatures called Nulians who have animallike characteristics. Children born during the violet moon occurrence are especially prized; like the “chosen ones”, but also vulnerable. The Nulians work for a good guy (at first) named Gavril, who like the famous Star Wars saga, turns to the dark side when he develops a lust for magical powers after word gets out about a special child named Bliss.The last of the Watchers takes Bliss under his wing and they go into seclusion to be safe from greedy Gavril and his henchman, the “Rot”. The Rot is a group of undead monster bad guys, apparently that is what they are called in the plural sense, the Rot. The Watcher and Bliss turn out to be a force to reckon with together when the time comes to defeat their adversaries.Worthwhile reading about a very magical world, and teaches important lessons on using magic wisely.
