Monica is a successful and beautiful young woman, who is obsessed with her ex-boyfriend. She is stalking her former boyfriend Rick and Allison, the new girlfriend, to the point of trying to kill the new woman in his life. She uses messages and phone calls to scare Allison away, and when they are not enough, tries to run her off the road with her car. The police get involved when Monica appears uninvited at a wedding Rick and Allison are attending, and kisses Rick in front of everyone, before leaving with Mike, an old rival of Rick. The next morning, Mike is found dead, buried in the snow, and Rick’s business card is discovered in his pocket. The police start the investigation, and Detective Martinez interrogates both Allison and Rick, while Monica is nowhere to be found. Sometime later, Monica again tries to run over Allison with her car, and is admitted to a hospital when Allison manages to stand up to her. The next few days, Monica again eludes the police, and tries to convince Rick that she is the one for him. Is she successful in winning Rick over?

Readers who love romance as well as suspense will not get disappointed with this book for the excitement and chills of the love interest; good times and heart pounding actions were equally distributed. The characters are so engaging particularly with the villain Monica. I was hooked to this and I will surely have another novel written by this author.
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. A great romance suspense! By Dan P A well-written romance suspense novel, Maya Moss' Obsession kept me hooked from start to finish. Rick was relatable, and well-developed, and the obsessive Monica was written in just the right way to drive the suspense home for me. As she became ever more obsessive, I found myself more and more attached to the book, to the point I wasn't able to put it down. An great piece of fiction, fit for anyone interested in the genre!

By Eduard P Kusumadjaja If you only like romance type of books only, then I should say maybe you will not like this one. But if you like the combination of romance and also suspense in one book like I do, then I think you will like this one. It's a great book, really well written by Maya Moss. It has really wonderful story & the characters are very interesting in my opinion. Once again, a great combo of romance & suspense!
