By Don Kidwell Fully Illustrated snippets of history presented in a most engaging manner complete with a brief quiz at the end. To have artwork along with factual info on a subject I might not ordinarily pursue made it all the easier going down. I did have to resort to a pan-and-scan technique by zooming the book to 150% so as to make the wording more legible on my black-and-white kindle but still glad to have been able to read this book and given it ends with Lenin's death and the words "Joseph Stalin persuaded everyone that he should be the next leader of the Soviet Union, but that's another story..." I guess it's a good thing I'm wanting to own them all. Very good book!
