The best stories teach us something without making us think we are learning. Regardless of your faith, the reader and child learn character traits from the barnyard. I particularly liked how one can be "scolded" in a loving way to show the error in an action and can seek forgiveness and never lose acceptance or love of a family. Brenda shows that love is the answer. For her its faith-pure love. She shows us a Christlike character. At Christmas how wonderful to see pure Sugarman. I look forward to where these stories go and the ultimate sacrifice for love and savior- to me this is a unique twist on the themes we see on Chronicles of Narni and even Harry Potter. I cant wait til I can read them to my grandson!

I bought this book for my Granddaughter and she loves it! The illustrations bring Sugarman to life and the book is full of interactive activities for the reader. SUGARMAN THE PONY also includes a music CD that will get your kids "dancing"! This is an amazing, inspirational book that your child will love!!! Looking forward to SUGARMAN'S next book!
