I suspect it will make quite a difference if we encourage children to be generous. Kim has stepped forward with a wonderful spirit of giving. Colorful illustrations, simply written, able to be understood by very young children even if they haven't learned to read yet. This book would make a great gift for a library, school, friends, relatives. (Not to mention narcissistic people, nosy neighbors, show offs, those who don't realize what a small amount of goodwill can do.) Can you imagine the world if a huge number of kids read this book and are generous with those around them? Buy a few copies and donate them - help spread the message. This book could be translated into many languages and impact society starting with our smallest and youngest. Start a movement in your community!

Krahe Even though I'm definitely a friend of Kim's, I'd be rating this book 5-stars even if we were enemies!The lessons on giving are invaluable and the story is really fun. I can't wait for my daughter to be old enough to enjoy having this book read to her and teaching her about the value of being a generous person. (or giraffe!)

The way it conveys the spirit of giving, and it's true internal value is so simple and creative. My son loves the illustrations and the storyline. A must have for parents who are looking for creative ways to show their kids the bennifit of being a generous giver! Love it love it!!!
