Smith The book is short but fun, the real attraction here is the AR connectivity through your smartphone. Using the AR app you can bring some of the dinosaurs in the book "to life". You can manipulate the size, motions, and location of the digital dinosaur and insert them into photos. It's a bit large to make it easy and fun to use when taking it on trips (where you'd get the most benefit from adding a Jurassic World dinosaur into your photos).
0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. It works, but it can overheat By Bryan Fear Very cool, a lot of fun. I show it to friends and co-workers and everyone seems to get a kick out of it. The only drawback is on a few occasions the software has caused my phone to overheat and shut down. The iCarlton app seems to include their own built-in warning message about this so I'm assuming it's a known issue if the manufacturer is warning us. The overheats don't happen often, only when in an area with bad wi-fi signal as if this app is searching for signal to work. ( I don't think this app needs wi-fi for single-user ) Nonetheless, if you're in a remote area and use this app, you have about 5 minutes before an overheat and warning message about imminent shut down until cool. No other app has done that to my phone.
